Pretty Easy Going

This morning didn't feel such a battle to get everyone up and out, although partly because I was so mad about having to do all the weekend's washing up, William was probably repelled by my 'force field'... I mean, I don't think anyone would enjoy getting up on Monday morning, and particularly when faced with the task of having to scrape off congealed rice from saucepans with their fingernails before they could actually get started with anything/everything else. So whilst I was busy clearing up the weekend's mess, William was busy using all the remaining cutlery and plates to sort out breakfast for him and the girls. 

Marie's been less of a menace to me recently, so the school run was a lot easier and quicker. And the sun's out today! Also, I take back what I said to anybody about the under-ground cinema being 'over-rated'. I've completed re-designed how I'd have a cinema in my own house based on the one here, AND it's pretty awesome having a real life-size Robert Pattinson on your screen. ;P I think it may be my favourite room in the house... not least because it's the cleanest!! 

 

Achievement of the day: I've booked my train ticket home!!! WOOO! It was a very stressful procedure, and the site kept crashing and when I went back all the prices had hugely increased, but I finally managed to get the 'best' price, although I still think it's pretty ridiculous. They really should have a standing area - I mean, toddlers go free providing that they 'sit on an adult's lap', so if they're charging for bums on seats, can't I perch in the luggage area?

I hope the rest of this week is as good as I feel today. :D
