Yesterday was surprisingly very easy, and Caroline was actually nice to me! It was pretty astounding.
Today - the weekend finally! - was ok, although slow-going. To be honest, the only real 'news' of the day is to show off my amazing cushions I bought for my return to England. Isn't the front one just so adorable???
It has dachshunds all over it if you can't make them out clearly... I bought two of them as they are totally sold out all over England, and so it was a huge surprise when I saw a pile of them in Chatelet! And they were half price, so I am TOTALLY saving money on them. And then the cushion behind it is such a gorgeous bright pink velvet cushion, and the back of it is a creamy linen. And that one was in the sale too, from 25€, so definitely a bargain.
The next chapter of my life after Paris should be called 'Shopaholic rents a house'. I AM saving, but there'd be really no point in not buying anything, and having a really boring room! Just LOOK at those cushions! Definitely worth it. I got excited because now that my Dad is coming to SAVE ME with his Landrover, I no longer need to panic at the thought of Eurostar, packing, cramming everything into two suitcases, public humiliation after a suitcase explosion... So now really is the best time to buy a bunch of (cheap) Parisian Chic furniture and accessories so my room is unique. :)
