FOUR MORE WEEKS.
I might have to resort to the old Harry Potter trick being saved by a flying car. AND the added bonus is that I don't have a pet owl that has to come too. If anyone is in possession of one of these aeronautical vehicles please contact me. I'd really appreciate it.
This week has been fine I guess, just slow going. SO slow going. It feels like it should be Thursday already.
Plus sides: It was sunny today. I attempted more French revision. The cleaner likes me, Marie is talking to me and Caroline didn't ruin my cooking plans this evening.
Down sides: It is actually quite hot and sticky. Must consider cold showers. i got mad at the fact no book would explain to me the REASONS for using Passive Tense. I am not going to even attempt to learn a verb formation which will promptly fall out of my brain if I don't even understand WHY I should bother learning it. It just looks like the past tense. If anyone has answers, the comment box is below. Caroline didn't ruin my cooking this evening; I did. I attempted blasted pork again and it rapidly turned into fillets of leather. Good deed of the day: the dog certainly had a good supper since the girls left most of something that could be considered more useful as handbag material than protein intake.
One more day ticked off. To reduce my lack of stress today, I finally plucked up the courage to plug in my BBB (Beloved BlackBerry) into my mac computer. I hadn't done so for fear of wiping my BlackBerry. Turns out I was right about some things. Fortunately, I managed to restore it all with my music, photos and contacts, which was just as well as I ended up doing that twice.
Tomorrow is going to be a real treat of a taxi day! I'm dreading it. It includes Margot at school for ONE HOUR in the morning (seriously, WHAT is the point of even getting up??), and Juliette has a dentist appointment at 10.30. And on top of that is the abhorrent, gruelling and insufferable journey of peril between tennis and ice-skating. Let's all clap our hands in excitement.
