Night and day it's Cinderella...

In the words of my mother, 'It's been a really shitty week'. Urgh *Scrooge noises*

I am SO glad it's over.. or almost over, as I still have to pick up the girls from tennis and serve up dinner. It sounds simple but we all know that a LOT of things can go wrong here in a short space of time.

Two school runs this morning... On run number one I sat in the car with Margot and Marie waiting for CAROLINE to arrive. I am not a taxi service! Then as I was dropping Caroline off at the station, she handed me half her dirty laundry including some underwear. Excuse me? I don't think so. Stress Level: Medium. Oh, and I was also lumped with the dog which stank, and I'm almost certain it has some sort of infestation on it. Stress level: Medium-High.

My surprise of the day: Margot showed up again at 12pm. I threw on my shoes and legged it out of the door just so I wasn't roped into an extra school run.

Wandered round Paris, found nothing. I was looking for: Parisian antique/vintage accessories for my new room, and fashion books - the big hardcover ones on designers or photography. Found: Nothing. I've only scratched the surface though... I KNOW there is a whole undiscovered haven of tourist-free antique shops. Anyway, the plan this weekend is to hit Paris' largest flea market. And it doesn't include the dog.

Came back to this:
Oh sweet joy. I'll wash ALL that up then shall I?

Drove to tennis through miserable rain, and stuck behind a motorbike. I thought they were supposed to go FAST? Stress level: fairly high. Then my favourite gym track came on the radio, so the stress levels dropped a bit, until we then had to stop for a LEARNER DRIVER insisting on doing parallel parking on a one-way narrow street. Who DOES that? *eye roll*

So back home to whip up tea, throw up a blog post and whiz back out again! I hope this evening isn't too hectic... and by 'hectic' I mean, I hope neither parent shows up.
